Sewing Cross Patch Tea Towels
Recently we went to Birmingham NEC for the needlecraft show in March and it was amazing, lots of beautiful sewing ideas and I picked up this lovely tea towel set from a stall called Cross Patch.
I couldn't wait to get started sewing it altogether and made it yesterday. It was lovely to do the towels are linen Moda with french theme patterns on with tabs sewn on the top of each and poppers to attach to your oven or cupboard handle.
Also I'm currently working on a Crewel work picture by Sue Hawkins called Jacobean Rosehips which is great fun to do...
I'm planning on finishing it this month so I can frame it :)

Sunday wanderings...
On Sunday afternoon we all had a great family trip out to Crich Tramway museum, it was great to have some nice walks in the sunshine through the woods and to the play area. A trip on the trams was very exciting for little one and furry one - they allow dogs there which is a bonus and we stopped off at Rita's Tea rooms to have a scone and jam - yum :)

Here is one of the makes I completed for Easter ... a lovely egg bunny cosy following the Little Cotton Rabbits pattern... it knitted up great and am so pleased with it we shall save it and bring it out for several Easter's to come..
